Glenormiston College is the perfect place to hold your wedding. The historic gardens and buildings on the 300-hectare property create the perfect backdrop for your special day. Whatever your style and budget, we have a specialised wedding package to suit your needs. Whether you choose an intimate ceremony in the Boardroom, a sit down wedding in the Banquet Hall, a marquee on the Croquet Lawn or a cocktail party in the Dining Room, your wedding will be an event to remember at Glenormiston College.
Entering Glenormiston College through the main gates, you are immediately immersed in its old-world elegance and original charm. The main entrance is lined with ancient elms—a tunnel of green shade in spring and summer and a golden avenue in autumn. Dry-stone walls border the driveway leading to the heritage-listed mansion. The striking two-story bluestone and white stuccoed mansion (circa 1855) stands in a park of magnificent native and exotic plants, featuring trees such as an original gum, a Prussian fir, date palms and an old, giant bunya pine.
Having our wedding reception at Glenormiston College was a wonderful experience. It is so versatile with many locations for photos, from the well manicured driveway to the beautiful staircase in the mansion. The food was fantastic with appetisers in the rose garden at the mansion and a five star meal. The staff were so helpful with menu choices, room layout and so much more, making it so easy for us to relax and enjoy our special day.
