Horses updatesA new group of enthusiastic students started at Glenormiston College in February and the first year Advanced Diploma of Horse Management students are busy weaning a crop of 12 thoroughbred foals. During this process the foals are taught to lead, have legs handled, load onto floats, tie up and learn general handling routines such as stabling and grooming. After term break the foals will be vaccinated and micro chipped and the colts gelded. |
