Student facilities
Student Accommodation
Glenormiston College offers on-campus accommodation for up to 130 students. Individual rooms are arranged in blocks of five, with a common lounge room, toilet and shower facilities. Kitchen and laundry facilities are also provided in each residential grouping.
Our accommodation is well maintained and serviced, and represents great value for money. It is set in beautiful grounds, providing vistas and walks through the trees and gardens around the historic bluestone mansion.
Residential students have full access to recreational facilities including the swimming pool, excersise room, and tennis and squash courts.
Recreational Facilities
Glenormiston College students have access to a range of recreational facilities. The campus swimming pool is a popular choice in summer, with other facilities including tennis and squash courts, a sports oval and a excersise room with bikes,a rowing machine and bench press equipment. Students are encouraged to join local sporting teams to experience the many advantages of living in rural Victoria.
Dining room
The campus dining room has seating capacity for 200 people. Evening meals and breakfasts are provided in the main dining room five days a week and lunches are available for purchase. The campus also has a barbeque area for the enjoyment of students, staff and visitors.
Recreational Lounges
As well as a wide range of athletic recreational activities, there are comfortable lounges on campus where students can meet and unwind. The main recreational lounge is a popular venue with students, especially during the winter evenings by the open fire.
Student Learning Centre (Library)
Library services include a range of support services to students and staff, including study skills and research services. Multimedia services include the provision and maintenance of audiovisual equipment to support teaching and learning, photocopying and printing, and the hire of laptop computers and digital cameras.
